In my initial review I was of the view that Stephany Folsom's Paper Girls was simply a more sophisticated version of Stranger Things with a tighter budget. My bad. This is something else entirely, and quite extraordinary. I have seen a lot of content over the years, but I have never seen the concept of "self meeting self" taken this far -- and that includes even the "time paradoxes" in Star Trek Voyager. By the time we reach this late episode in S01, it becomes clear how astonishing the dialog actually is. Here we have Tiff essentially arguing with herself (even trying to 'diss her older self -- "Oh Great and Powerful Oz"), and the writing is so polished that the audience has no trouble following. Can you imagine how many philosophers over the years have tried to record such an "inner dialog" and failed ... because they never thought of using time travel as the medium of communication? Unforgettable. ((Designated "IMDb Top Reviewer."
