I have enjoyed every episode so far but this one hits different. Watching the rez dogs bring along "uncle brownie" into a world that he has closed himself off from is a fun take on the "coming of age" premise that the youths have been steering for the previous two episodes. I hate waiting a week for a new episode but this show is so precious and important and well worth the wait!!!

This episode hit a little close to home

I am Kumeyaay native in Southern California. The uncle character reminded me of my dad who passed a couple months ago. He used to tell stories of fights he got into all the time and how grandiose it was, my siblings and I never got to confirm if they were true.
Later in life my dad tried to be an actor and did extra work (background characters). Seeing Gary Farmer portray Uncle brownie felt like watching my dad on screen. I wish my dad could have seen the show he would have loved it.

Of my favorite new show. Gary Farmer rocks this uncle character hard. All of the actors on this show are amazing and the way the play off each other is so great. As with all my favorite shows I will be watching each episode at least twice.
