Bashir drives his Lybian friend Khaled to Toronto, learning only in stages the fellow refugee chose to take his changes with an optimistic immigration lawyer, but is in a process which may result in deportation. Theo is irritable as his divorce is made public and Bash's family's moving out messy, yet patiently works out the eating disorder of a frustrated knave patient. Immigrant engineer Anju Gupta, whom Bash released with minimal treatment for construction site injury promising rest before, returns with complications, having overexerted himself, feeling obligated to his family, while his wife wants him to be careful and return to India. A stubborn Samaritan feeling responsible for the patient she brought in annoys Mags, yet ends up inspiring the crucial diagnosis at last, alas just too late.
