Love the idea of growing your own veg. Michelin star Chef Marcus dives Into the world of growing veg and rearing farm animals. He also cooks with the produce with creative recipes. Its nothing really original but if you're a fan of food, Marcus and growing your own food you should enjoy it. My only criticism is that the BBC format kind of takes away a bit from what it's really like. I think it would also suit a YouTube style format where you see more of the process. I suppose there is not much else to really say, if it sounds interesting to you give it a watch. I hope Marcus's next TV show is him travelling to a place where he is a novice of the cusine like India or Thailand. They are some of my favourite cusines but I know about as much as the next Englishman about them.

Marcus is our man!

A favorite chef from MasterChef Professional (UK) pops up with his own kitchen garden and he is ever as charming and nice!
We learn and we enjoy countryside cooking with him and his neighbours. We learn about different breeds for animals and different veggies you may grow in your garden, or balcony.
Go on Marcus, invite Monica and Gregg for a dinner, let them work some too!

Another pretentious cookery program

I probably have 10% of the ingredients he casually grabs out of mid air. This should be marketed as a niche programme for oddsesive pretentious people who think there cooking it somehow superior, they then have fish and chips on friday. Pretentious toss.
Millionaire celebrity chef buys hobby farm

Cost of small holding?
Cost to buy garden?
Cost to pay others to garden it?
When was all this stuff planted?
Who planted it?
The easiest bit: getting paid by bbc and ambling along with a trug and snipping some things off and then cooking them on a sunny day.

So irrelevant and unrelatable

I really respect Marcus Waring and I'm huge fan of cooking and cooking education, I've worked in catering for 28 years. But this programme is sooo Bourgeois and irritating it's unbelievable. Who can afford a small holding with a readymade perfect Kitchen garden? When he finally got around to cooking something it was a meal with double carb and no vegetables. Come on BBC.
Not Worth It

Another rich guy running a "farm" off of the labor of others without giving credit. The pandemic forced some of these rich chefs to remember the properties they own in the country. Marcus adds nothing to the show itself and it is the duplicate of every other chef show out there now. The arrogance juxtaposed to his lack of knowledge of his holding is ridiculous to watch. Hes not an inventive chef either. Very terrible show.
