The first half of this episode focuses entirely on the teens(and Lucas and Elle)at the rock concert.It does feel as though someone has spliced in a load of stock footage from an actual concert:The difference between shots not featuring the regulars and shots featuring them becomes obvious when the camera pulls a bit too far back from the shot of Elle dancing and we see there's only about a dozen people in the crowd.
Declan and Ringo seem to have taken the jerk pills today although they don't last long.Lucas is presumably supposed to be an obsessive gambler again although it's still not coming across well.And the cliffhanger is lame beyond belief:Sunny's been standing there for quite a while and hasn't noticed the whacking great crevice she's about to fall into?
The "Back on Ramsay Street" scenes are patchy:Steve and Miranda getting distracted from engaging in conjugal rites isn't really that interesting and if he isn't living there why don't they just go back to his hotel room?Lou and Toadie get some mildly amusing material with the kids' strike and it's nice to see Harry and Sophie getting a happy storyline.
