(S3. E8) My Live Reaction / Review for True Blood Season 3 Episode 8 ''Night on the Sun''. Episode 7 was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. So Sookie and Bill break up once again, im getting tired of this. Sam protecting his little brother is good. Sookie already found a new boyfriend? That werewolf? She is fast. The King's boyfriend now has a new boytoy named Eric? That's funny. Sookie cant defend herself against these powerful vampires and the werewolves, and Bill is not strong enough to beat these vampires. The King gives Bill a serious beating. Eric kills Talbot? Hell yeah! That's awesome. And Sookie and Bill are back together, here we go again. Overall a very entertaining episode, my rating is 9/10.

Night On The Sun? More like Night Of The Dying Dead

Warning: Spoilers
The problem with TB now is that it's so stupid...it's almost funny. But that's a bad thing when a show is not trying to BE funny. The acting and writing and directing are all so bad it's impossible to take anything that's happening seriously any more.

Bill and Sookie are some of the most unlikable lead characters to ever come down the pike -- at least when they're in the same scenes together. Tara is insufferable. Jason is a total moron. Arelene is irritating. Sam is OK -- sometimes. Lafayette's character has all but disappeared. Alcide is almost a non-entity. Hoyt looks like he's had a lobotomy. Andy is tolerable at best. Terry is OK, but he's a bit player. And that leaves Eric, Pam, and Russell. There's just not enough meat on the bones of this series any more. It's become a bad melodrama at best. I think the line that best describes this episode comes to us courtesy of Debbie: "THEY KILLED MY COOTER!" Oh yeah. It's come down to lines like that. OH...how the mighty have fallen...

As far as the specifics of "Night On The Sun"...Tara is still Tara. Jason is still Jason. Andy is still Andy. Alcide is still Alcide. Sookie is still Sookie. Russell still wants Sookie. Eric still seeks revenge against Russell, and kills Talbot. I love you Beel. I love you Suh-keh. I'm sorry Beel. I'm sorry Suh-keh....blah...blah...blah. This show just drags on like the previous shows, although it does pick up at the end. And the music is better, with great tunes from Eilen Jewell and Lucinda Williams, among others.
