I Like How It's Intricate!

Plot: The story is the most intricate part. Well narrated and introduced, in my humble opinion. There are mysteries that are well unveiled and the ones that are not keep the interest high! This one is a real crime, thriller!

Actress: not disappointed by the mains, the both of them can act well. I'm not a fan, just FYI.

Visual Effects: the few that there are are very well made.

Conclusion: Finally a thriller/crime that seems to be worth watching! Yes, is still early to say something for sure, but the beginning captured me. If you, like me, like intricate plot, this one is a must-to-try!

Really Need Morina Baccarin In a Good Guy Role

She always seems to be playing bad girls or anti-hero roles there. As a criminal mastermind who robbed seven banks but not for money but for her own personal reasons that have yet to be unveiled as she nicknames herself "The Queen."

Ryan Michelle Bathe the wife of "This is Us" star Sterling Brown, as she is an FBI agent that is about to be divorced over her now imprisoned husband and is called back to duty to investigate why Baccarin's character is robbing the banks.

She may be the queen and heartless to a fault but she also is no dummy and is brutal and she is ice cold even in her arrest and interrogation scenes.

Just hope the characters will be a little more likable and how that the Baccarin anti-heroine role will show as it shows in flashbacks as a child trained by her father, how she became the way she is.

I wanted to like this show.

I will be honest, I really wanted to like this show. So many movies and shows made lately have tried so hard to give women a lead role. They have been inundated with weak writing and poor directing. None of the roles were written for female characters. They were created to fill a management metric. This is not that show. It was well written. Powerful roles filled by great actors. Written and directed for strong personalities and masters of their craft, characters and talent. Great acting. Great writing.

Great directing.

Accept the Flowers character. It feels like fill. Not so impressive dialog or purpose. It feels like should be a contrast or compliment but feels more or a puppy. But overall, I did like this show.

Well done.

Learn from this show. Write for character and you can create hero's. Write to check a box and waste everybody's time.

Don't let the fact that it's on network tv fool you

Finally, a show where everything matters and is either a clue, or simply highlights character. I was intrigued by the promos and I wouldn't have hesitated to call this show bad if it was, but it immediately hooked me by subverting some of my expectations. So many great moments and lines in this premiere where I can breakdown what they indicate about the character. I was also left with theories afterward that I'm curious to see how they develop.

Morena Baccarin fans will not be disappointed

Morena's costume designer really hit the spot, highlighting her wonderful cleavage. Hopefully things will get even better as the show moves on, with her costumes rivalling some of those she wore on Gotham!

The story wasn't too bad either ;)
