Gold Coast win the 1st term, but should've been further ahead missing many easy shots, with the Tigers struggling. Richmond take the lead in the 2nd, when they could've been completely out of it, but the Suns go into the half up a goal. Lynch carrying the Tigers forward-line, Suns up 9 going into the last. Gold Coast get over the line by 10 points, the Tigers with back to back poor performances. Not a high level played here, with over umpiring as well. The Suns did win without two of their guns in Greenwood and Anderson in the team though. Gold Coast handily win in all areas, except the hit-outs. Suns +6 clearances, +22 inside 50's, with more of the ball, more contested marks, +18 tackles and 8 more scoring shots. Lynch best afield in a losing team, with 13 disposals, 3 contested marks and 5 goals. Miller excellent, 36 disposals, 9 clearances, 5 inside 50's and 7 tackles. King 13 disposals, 2 contested marks, 4 goals and an assist. Swallow and Lukosius also among the best for the Suns.
