For Drag Race to present a challenge like this one is just plain lazy and goes to show that they're too busy cranking out spin-off after spin-off after spin-off to really care about the quality of the products they put out. It's like they just said "Well, now we need to work on Drag Race UK season 3 so for this challenge let's just make it easy and put a table at the end of the runway that they can just talk at." What they're asking of the queens is murky at best and it results in a situation that punishes queens who actually open up and show the very thing that RuPaul worships most, vulnerability. It resulted in some of the most questionable, rude critiques in the show's history that weren't based on their performance in the challenge, but who they are as people. THAT was uncomfortable to watch.
Drag Race often parodies popular shows, like how The Bossy Rossy show in season 10 parodies Jerry Springer. That concept was totally missing from this week's episode and it makes the audience question exactly what the show is looking for. Were they supposed to be parodies of The View or were we supposed to see them open up about their lives? Were they supposed to be funny or serious? There is an element of production lacking in this week's challenge to an extent that it indicates they're becoming cheap and running out of steam.
