- Nightwing and the gang refurbish a bus and hit the road.
- Phantom Girl tries to help Conner escape the Phantom Zone but is betrayed. Young Justice restores the school bus, while King Brion begins to have second thoughts about Markovia's meta-human transport program. Meanwhile, Violet considers her relationships with Brion and Harper.—Gislef
- In Markovburg, a group of thugs in their truck chase a metahuman down the road. They run him down and tell him that they don't want "meta scum" infecting their homeland. The meta shoots venom at one of them, and the others close in. Brion and his Infinitors arrive, and the Infinitors attack the thugs. One of thugs runs into the woods, and Brion chases after him only to find Everyman there. Everyman says that he didn't see anyone, as he secretly absorbs the thug into his body.
At the university in Ivy Town, Violet and Valerie are moving into the dorm. Harper has Violet use her power to levitate their heavy trunk into Violet's room, and Harper figures that Violet won't miss her in her new life. Violet assures Harper that they'll always be friends, and Harper tells her that she wants to be more than friends. She tells Violet that she doesn't have to answer her right away, and she's going to go. Harper asks Violet to think about it
In Markovia, Brion isn't happy that the one thug escaped. The ambassador arrives, and Brion tells him that the thug evaded Everyman but evaded him. Unconcerned, the ambassador tells Brion not to worry and what matters is that the Infinitors sent a powerful message that he sent a message to the anti-meta radicals. Brion goes to the assembled press and tells them that Markovia welcomes metas, and the Infinitors will protect all metas.
In the Zone, Phantom Girl introduces herself to Conner and explains her power of phasing, and her using her power is how they ended up in the Zone. She thinks she can get them back to their dimension, takes Conner's hand, and concentrates. Phantom Girl can't, and says that Conner's willpower is fighting her, tying them to the Zone. Conner says that he can't leave, and he's pledged his loyalty to Zod.
In Metropolis, Nightwing and his team search an auto junkyard for the school bus. They spread out and Tigress finds it, but it's been crushed into a cube.
At the palace in Markovburg, Brion recognizes the new meta, Lizard Johnny, from Cuba. Johnny wonders if Brion will deal with the thugs like Brion dealt with his uncle, then apologizes for his comment and says that he doesn't want to fight. Brion assures Johnny that he understands.
Ambassador Vettings comes in and leads Johnny off, while Wilhelm Mueller talks to Brion about his meta-transport policy. While Vettings encourages Johnny's anger toward humans and Infinitor Fury notices, Mueller objects to Brion's policy of letting any metas enter Markovia and how it could appear they are trying to recruit metas away from the Justice League. Vettings comes over and says that if the League were taking care of the children, they wouldn't need them. Mueller and Brion both agree, and Mueller leads Vettings off. Brion notices that Johnny is gone.
At the meta-human youth center in Taos, Dinah holds a group session with the teenagers. Violet talks about how she has a whole new life starting in Ivy Town. She says that someone she cares about has expressed romantic interest in her, and she admits that she doesn't know what her feelings are because she's a little bit "broken". Violet admits at she has unresolved feelings toward Brion, and Tara assures Violet that Brion made his choices and Violet shouldn't put her life on hold for Brion. Vic suggests that Violet try one last time to reach out to Brion.
In Markov at the youth center, Helga Jace appears on a promotional tape talking about how willing youths can undergo treatment to become metas and Infinitors. Johnny enthusiastically watches the tape, and tells Brion when he comes in that he wants to become an Infinitor. Helga comes in and leads Johnny off. Vettings comes in and says that he and Brion have much to discuss.
Phantom Girl tells Conner that Zod is a tyrant and if he gets out of the zone, he will attempt to conquer the entire galaxy. Ursa and Zod come over and tells Conner that they have more questions, and Phantom Girl feigns unconsciousness before the couple see her awake. Conner tells the couple that Phantom Girl is awake.
The Infinitors go to Mueller's home and asks him how they can be sure of his loyalty to metas when he and his family don't have the metagene. Fury objects to her teammates' threats, and Trajectory tells Vettings that non meta-humans like him feel more comfortable in their neighboring company. Everyman complains that Fury is holding him back, and as they leave Trajectory figures that Mueller is going to leave.
Zatanna summons Trogologs to rebuild the bus, in return for giving them another vehicle. The Trogologs pick Nightwing's SUV and Zatanna agrees, and the Trogologs go to work.
At the therapy session, Violet gets a text from Brion asking if they can talk. Gar introduces his emotional support dog, Wingman, and how Wingman helps him sleep better. However, he doesn't know if he'll rejoin the Outsiders, but figures he isn't ready for it. Everyone has been forgiving of his prior "jerkitude", but he hasn't talked to Perdita yet
Conner tells Zod and Ursa that Phantom Girl wanted him to leave the Zone. Phantom Girl thinks she can escape the Zone, but won't take Zod with her because she considers him a tyrant. Conner grabs Phantom Girl on Ursa's orders, and Phantom Girl phases away back to Marz and the cavern, and screams in pain as the lava burns her hand.
Brion sits on his throne and looks at his phone, and never gets an answer from Violet. Halo boom-tubes in, and Brion says that he missed her. He says that he has cut himself off from his family and friends because he had to prove he made the right choice, and he's been busy building something important and wants to make something good off of what happened a year ago. Brion wonders if Halo feels she has to fix him, and Halo says that she came to see if there's anything still between them. She's discovered that she's more than just a Mother Box, and they should explore their paths together. Brion says that it's not that simple.
Vettings comes in, saying he heard the Boom Tube. He asks if Halo has come to accept Brion's proposal to become his queen, and Halo says that she hasn't. Brion tells Halo that he won't go with her and abandon his county, and Halo figures Brion is stuck in the same place he was a year ago. She leaves via Boom Tube, and Brion tells Vettings to leave.
Later, Fury approaches Brion and says that she could use a friend. She says that she's done things she's not proud of, and does not like the look of things. Brion tells Fury to tell her about it.
At Ivy Town, Violet calls Harper and asks if she can see her.
The Trogologs restore the bus and take off in Nightwing's SUV. Zatanna sends them to another realm to "joy ride", and Nightwing says that they can't take M'gann along and get her hopes up that they can find Conner. Using the bus as a portal, Zatanna casts a spell to open a doorway to the Zone.
Black Lightning and Troia hold a ceremony for the groundbreaking of the Hall of Justice, across from the UN, and the partnership between the two organizations.
