The end of an era.

Warning: Spoilers
Rewatching season 6 was very important for me, because it allowed me to notice this first half of season, wasn't as great as I remembered. The strangler's storyline was one mystery too many. And they should've just stuck with the Boleyn family secrets, and the drama between the veterans. The feud between Lynette and the Solis family, in particular, is uncomfortable. And make Gabby and Carlos look bad. Katherine's depression storyline, went overboard. And also made Mike and Susan look bad. Especially Mike, who literally gave a knife to someone with suicidal tendencies... But I'm glad she's finally committed in this episode, and her freak out scene with Dylan, was greatly acted. Which leaves us with the Karl/Bree and Orson love triangle. That made all parties look bad and hypocritical. And that loser nurse blackmailing Angie. And even though Angie got petty and too desperate trying to cover her tracks, this part always make me root for her. The old couple causing the plane to crash, was very funny and one of my favorite part of the episode, too. Though this badly titled Winter finale, ended on a frustrating cliffhanger. That got even more frustrating, with « if... », simply postponing everything, with depressing fictional world stories. « Boom Crunch » was the best Christmas episode, for a show like Desperate Housewives. And marked the beginning of a new drop in quality for the series.

Amazing Episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode, just WOW! The tension between characters and then the plane crashing right on the lane. It was so shocking because they didn't show who died but clearly somebody did.

I mean this was so fantasticly done and I don't mind cgi plane. It was alright. Angie and that other woman had a intense conversation but luckily the woman blackmailing angie died and none suspected anything. Lynette and Gabrielle had an fight too but I wasn't that interested about that.

I really thought that bree was going to die because he went to the house but luckily she didn't. Still, Orson and Karl weren't so lucky...

Thank God for Kanagawa
Alecssei8 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I just viewed the 10.th episode, entitled 'Boom Cruch' and all I can say is thank God for Kanagawa.

Exactly 2 seasons ago - in the 10.th episode of the 4.th season, Wisteria Lane had to recover from a tornado that blew half of the street apart. That episode, entitled 'Welcome to Kanagawa', dealt with personal loss, family tragedies and death (Gaby lost her then husband). After the most boring season EVER (in my opinion) and ratings dropping more than the stock share of some big bank, Marc Cherry and the other writers realized the need another Kanagawa - and thus, like through a miracle, another accident happens on our beloved Lane and affects everyone there. I'm pretty sure death will come once again on Visteria Lane (I'm sorry if I'm morbid) and I can only hope to improve the show.

I just hope the show gets as good as it used to be.

Kind regards, Alexey
