Start Season Two!

Eight episodes aren't nearly enough! I want...no, I need more of Harry and Fergus and all the rest. I laugh out loud regularly and the stories are light but intriguing. I binged the entire season in two days. It helps, too, that I'm the same age as Jane Seymour, with a similar attitude to Harry, and I love having a main character I can really identify with!

Season 2, Please!

Great fun series with plenty of drama, well acted with good writing and an excellent new detective duo!

Fergus and Harry work so well together.

Think Hetty Wainthropp Investigates but more gritty.

The guest stars, production, direction and locations are all brilliant too.

Hopefully Acorn grant this smashing wee show another series as it really is one of their very best original series.

Every episode is highly watchable and always enjoyable. Well done to everyone involved in making this one of our favourite shows of the last decade.

Whoever gave the green light to the latest batch of detective shows is on a roll as they have struck gold many times over lately. Darby & Joan, Harry Wild, Whitstable Pearl, Recipes For Love & Murder. All excellent!

The Mad Hatter's tea party.

This series started brilliantly, but has been monotonically deteriorating by the instalment. Clearly it is tongue-in-cheek which is fine, but the jealous police suspensions are as ludicrous as they are unnecessary. The premise is overly complicated and a little ridiculous, disappointing for a finale.

At the outset I fell in love with Harry and Fergus. They remain well portrayed by Jane Seymour and Rohan Nedd within the constraint of poorly written scripts, but as time progresses, it becomes increasingly difficult to care about them.
