As Iain McGuinness' documentary directorial debut, it won the Marshall Plan Digital Documentary Contest 2008, run by the Embassy of the United States in London, and Bebo.
The film is dedicated to Daniel Archibald Cochrane (1912-1993) and Jessie Cochrane (1910-2004), the director's maternal grandparents. They both survived the Clydebank Blitz.
