Tompi's 'Selesai' is messy, unfocused, and hard to engage with. It is, however, the glorified male entitlement and the sexist tone of the writing that cause the most concern. Tompi can still deliver moments that showcase his knack for story direction, but without the assistance of a strong plot, 'Selesai' sagged in its presentation and left an unpleasant aftertaste.

Watchable due to 'hard-sell' appeals by Marten & Tatum and stylish single-set filming. Tompi & Imam Darto brought some ironic and dramatic moments about troubled marriage but somehow chose to end the story with implausible twist that wouldn't satisfy audience.

Gak suka banget gue sama Ariel Tatum. Ketika dia bilang "Kalau mau ngew* sama laki orang jangan di mobil" well, dia itu bicara sesuai naskah dialog gak sih? Bisa gak sih kalimat itu di sensor atau diucapkan dengan bahasa halus? Kayaknya disgusting banget di dengar untuk orang yang kalangan elit.
Terlalu banyak adegan porno nya, jadi tidak layak untuk di tonton remaja yang masih di bawah umur. Oya satu lagi, adegan mesumnya bukan budaya timur banget. Jadi menurut gue,TOLONG buatlah suatu karya yang ada nilai positifnya buat kalangan masyarakat yang masih menunjung tinggi kebudayan timur.

A bit expensive for online streaming service, the price is around IDR 33,000 - 44,000 / USD 2.5 - 3. In fact, when in cinema we can get large screen, good sound, comfortable seat. Subscription period only lasts 48 hours
There is a network problem on the premiere day. The movie can't be played on several internet providers (telkomsel (cellular), indihome (wifi) (both two are from the same holders), by.u), which are the most used providers by Indonesia people. No contact person, no call centre for movie distributor (bioskoponline). Bad service

+ great toning, scoring, shooting angles & screenplay. Even the wardrobes are well prepared. Ayu's suitcase color matched with the livingroom's wall (but the Broto's boxer brief & Ayu's bag are red), an octo tripod in Yani's bedroom (represent that she is a socmed savvy), etc.
+ so many relatable context: love affair, digital lifestyle, mental health, etc.
+ nice humor garnish for a heavy message.
+ no explicit sponsors / brands along the movie (i'm not sure, Bambang's cigarette is such a sponsor or not)
-- Since this is 17+ rated movie, maybe it is reasonable to show tattoo, harsh and semi-vulgar act.
-- Ibu Sri didn't appropriately reply Dimas' greeting (Dimas said Assalamu'alaikum, but Ibu answer with "Hi Dimas".
Sad ending, the director is a doctor, so the mental health context presented very well
I would like to give 9/10 stars for the movie, but because of the value-for-money, sorry to give 8/10. Didn't intend to being unsupportive to local filmmaker, but convenience in service-business is key ___ That 3 asterisks on title are: mom. This is a story about mom. A mowan who knows everything, an angel that fix up our life, for my perspective, including Ayu.
