As this series draws to a close in the Fourth Season, one can see the wheels rusting. After the last season, with a bit of time passing, the new party had been formed, and things were looking rosie. Now, we move ahead and Brigette has become foreign minister and is dealing with the business of oil in Greenland. That's all fine, but what happened to the people with whom she has formed this party? Her romantic interest is gone. Where is he now? Where is her ex-husband. We hear about him. And why is Katrine so vicious. They have remade her to look nasty, with her protruding face and cheekbones. She has attained power and seems bent on driving Brigette out of power. She is not just reporting--she is leading the charge. She goes on rants, pushing people around. Of course, her character always seemed incredibly impulsive. Her son has become a spoiled jerk. Someone who has always had everything, but now needs to show off with his friends. Just asking.
