- TriviaSomeone mention the age discrepancy for Cory/Finn, Cory was actually about 26 when Glee started, "Finn" was 16 many shows advance kids ages, esp soaps, Chris was the only one close to "Kurt's"age, Chris was 18, Kurt was 16.
- GoofsFinn's father is said to have died in the Persian Gulf War when Finn was a baby. However, that war ended in 1991. This would make Finn around 20 years old instead of the 16-17 year old high school junior he is supposed to be. However, a recent storyline explains that Finn's mother lied about the death of his father, which could explain the mistake in this episode.

eh, watch the language there!
I have to admit - this show is a guilty pleasure because I'm a singin'-in-the-shower kind of girl. The cast has talent, and the music usually gets me amped up. So imagine my disdain when, upon recently catching up on season 1, I got treated to the following little gem in this otherwise-stellar episode: Kurt's dad, sitting down to watch a game with Finn: "I hate Duke like I hate the Nazis...(trails off into meaningless mumble about tobacco)" really, Glee writers, REALLY? As a Duke alumna who was herself heavily involved in arts programming as an undergrad, and whose grandfather and granduncles actually FOUGHT the Nazis, I'm unimpressed with your simile.
Maybe try to be a little less jealous and a little more original in your put-downs next time. Meanwhile, I guess I'll be watching Duke win more games instead of the musical angst of pseudo-highschoolers from now on.
