"Mystery of the Tattoo", crafted by the writer-director Kalaiarasi Sathappan, opens with a gripping setup that immediately captures the viewer's attention. The unexpected accident that claims the life of renowned artist Chitra Devi, portrayed by Ameesha Patel, sets the stage for an intriguing mystery. Her tragic demise leaves behind an unfinished painting, an enigma that becomes central to the narrative.

Daisy Shah, in her role as art therapist Aathmika, delivers a convincing performance that breathes life into her character. Aathmika's unique ability to decode hidden meanings in art and symbols adds an engaging and refreshing dimension to the story, making her a compelling and relatable protagonist.

The film unfolds as a string of these gruesome murders takes place, each victim marked with an unfinished tattoo that holds a cryptic message. The police are at their wits' end, unable to crack the code hidden within the ink. It's at this juncture that Aathmika's distinctive skill set comes into play.

As she delves into the mysterious world of these unfinished tattoos, the story takes on a thrilling and enigmatic quality. Aathmika's character adds depth and intrigue as she unravels the hidden meanings and symbols behind each tattoo, leading the investigation down a twisting and turning path.

As the plot unfolds, the film takes us on a journey filled with suspense and intrigue. The mysteries surrounding the unfinished artwork and the series of murders that plague the city keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Aathmika's unusual talent becomes a valuable asset to the police force as they seek to solve these perplexing crimes, creating a compelling blend of art, mystery, and crime-solving.

On the other hand, Rohit Raaj, in his debut performance as Vikarn, entered the film with significant potential. His portrayal of the character showcased a commanding screen presence and the opportunity to share the screen with established actors. However, it's apparent that his execution of the role may have fallen short of expectations. While the character itself showed promise, his acting may be described as lacking the finesse and confidence needed to fully engage alongside his experienced co-stars.

Arjun Rampal's portrayal of a dedicated detective, determined to put an end to these killings, further elevates the film. His strong and charismatic presence on screen captivates the audience, making them invested in the outcome of the investigation.

Ameesha Patel, in her brief appearance, leaves a memorable mark and contributes star power to the ensemble cast, despite her limited screen time.

The film's early setup and the promise of its premise are well-executed, drawing viewers into its world of art and enigma. While the narrative takes a while to build, it ultimately pays off with a thrilling climax that leaves a lasting impact.

The breathtaking backdrop of London's iconic locations adds an extra layer of allure to the film, setting the stage for a visually striking and immersive experience. These picturesque settings serve as a contrasting backdrop to the dark and mysterious events unfolding within the story.

As the plot thickens and the tension rises, the emotionally resonant music, particularly songs like "Mere Ankhon Ke Tare" and "Maa," effectively conveys the underlying emotions of the characters. The actor's performance in these songs lends depth and authenticity to the narrative, making it a memorable part of the film.

Editor Alen puts all the puzzle pieces together. He chooses which scenes to include, how long each scene should be, and when to show certain things to keep you interested. DOP L. K. Vijay made sure the film looked stunning. The beautiful visuals you see in the movie are thanks to his skill in making things look just right. Art director Anzari is a magician who creates a world of incredible paintings right in the movie. These paintings take you on a journey into the world of artists and their wild, imaginative art.
