Pythagorean Theorem & Misunderstood Technology
fuzzythnkr23 April 2023
In this episode they state that the Pythagorean Theorem was used long before Pythagoras first espoused that theorem. This was in reference to the Stones of Carnac. They quickly drew rough lines to form right triangles and other geometric shapes. It seems rather ridiculous to indicate right triangles didn't exist before Pythagoras. That's like saying gravity did not exist before Isaac Newton.

It also seems odd that they keep talking about misunderstood technology. The people on the show like to say that a UFO taking off could be mistaken for something like a dragon because of the fire coming from the ship. If a race was advanced enough to get to Earth from another solar system I doubt if they would be using a jet propulsion system. Using such a system would make the journey much too long. What people on the show need to realize is that current humans have no true reference beyond our own technology. We too can misunderstand technology.
