The penultimate episode is another goodie that explores a new faction between the formly friendly families. Watching Elliott squirm right in the middle of it makes for great drama, although perhaps the most outstanding moment comes with Luan, formerly an unlikeable supporting character, who really wows here. This is one that keeps you guessing and builds to a forceful and shocking climax.

A great penultimate episode that prepares us for probably a great finally. Luan finally gets his moment in this episode and sean blowing up Wallace tower was just epic.

Yeah this is where the show lost me. It was just bad, and it's set up the finale to be just as bad if not worse. The episode begins with yet another shootout. This show acts as if the general public and police don't exist. Silencers are never used and yet these people are allowed to shoot up the city without so much as someone calling the police. Later in the episode, a passerby NODS as a blood-covered, shaken Luan is dragged away by his wife. Speaking of that hotel ordeal, it's one of many ridiculous set pieces this show has delivered. A hotel massacre and Luan is able to not only escape a 4v1 against bigger men with weapons, but he's also allowed to just walk straight out. How has he, and many of the people in the show, managed to get away with all this when they leave fingerprints all over the scene? Unless they have contacts inside the police, which doesn't look the case right now, it's completely nonsensical. The scene with Billy and Jackie was pretty stupid, having Jackie seemingly adamant that she's not going to leave her house, only for a predictable and forced fake out as the Danish break in. What was the point? This show has already proven that it doesn't need to use such silly tropes to build tension so I don't know why it decided to do so here. I'm not really sure what to think of the scene where Elliot tries to save the other UC. He presumably planted the weapon on him to cover him needlessly killing the other one of Wallace's men, but why exactly did he do that in the first place? Maybe he's fed up, I'm not sure. I'm not sure whether that's his standard issue weapon of one of Wallace's weapons but planting it seems like it might just lead straight back to him. Even his scene with him and Shannon where he calls her "his world". He's known this woman for what, no more than two weeks? It makes you wonder about how close Elliot's managed to get to the Wallaces in such a short space of time. It's just completely unbelievable. That brings me into the episode's unfathomable conclusion. Sean has been having this inner battle over who he is and whether he's cut out for this line of work. His contemplation of suicide to him letting the pigeon out seemed to be a symbol of him maybe turning a new leaf, but no. He decides to blow up a skyscraper (with one van, facilitated by a character who has no business even being alive), no doubt killing countless people. If I thought the writing was outlandish before, this is just something else. What reason would he or Lale have that could warrant doing so much damage and destruction? I'm quite lost for words at how this turned out. It could've been so much better but at this point, it's completely ruined. It's a great shame but I don't see any way of fixing this
