First episode of the new season starts off exactly where the last episode of the previous season finished. Harry has been kidnapped by the Russians though there is a much darker ulterior motive behind it all.
Lucas and Ros race to try and find him and we see the very welcome return of Ruth Evershed. This is a superb series and shows the BBC at its best. It is a shame that these series are few and far between now and we have to put up with the rubbish of reality TV.
On a sombre note, Malcolm announces he wishes to retire. Its quite refreshing to see someone live to retirement rather than getting killed off which is what usually happens.
