Portions of Grave Reality were originally filmed in El Paso, Texas before being entirely re-shot in Florida. Some of the original El Paso footage can be seen on a television in the background during the segment "Negative Zero".
The segment titled "The Grave" was based on a short comic drawn by director Oliver Tosh when he was only 10 years old.
The pumpkin seeds seen going down the drain in the segment "Negative Zero" destroyed the plumbing.
The four segments that make up the film are titled "The Fate of Dean & Lisette", "The Grave", "Lord's Vengeance", and "Negative Zero". Several of the segments were shown at film festivals in short film categories.
