All this episode is doing is showing the fallout from the previous episode, nothing more nothing less, looking st the other ratings this was quite clearly the needed filler episode.
Also the pizza joint was just to show Kyle's struggle with deciding whether to leave the city or not.
I'm reviewing this after watching 3 episodes in a row so that might be why it's make a bit more sense to me, I know someone said the prison part with the mum isn't needed but clearly that's a story for later.
I dont get the issue with the acting either I thought it was pretty good the while episode, each to their own but this was an easy one to follow and understand (again this is after a slight binge and not a week on week viewing)
