- Mike Scarlatti: CJV Electronics. CJV was busted a couple of years ago. They were selling pirated operating systems.
- Sam Braddock: How do you know that?
- Mike Scarlatti: I know because I'm a highly-trained officer on the cutting edge of twenty-first century investigation.
- Sam Braddock: I thought it was because you're a geek.
- Ed Lane: He's not a geek, okay? He's a geek with combat skills, that's why the ladies love him.
- Ed Lane: [as Wordy changes the radio station during their workout] Rock and roll stations only, Wordy. None of this country and western stuff.
- Ed Lane: [listening to Cosgrove interview politician Ryan Malone on the radio] I just can't stand this guy.
- Jules Callaghan: I know. His teeth are too white, huh?
- Ed Lane: No, no, I'm talking about Cosgrove. I'm talking about Cosgrove. Malone wants to put a hundred cops on the street, Jules, a hundred cops. He gets my vote every time.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Yeah, the minute he gets his hands on the budget, he starts running those red lines through all the promises he made.
- Ed Lane: Yeah, well, you got to have a little faith, boss. A little faith.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: But I'm a realist, buddy.
- Ed Lane: Yep.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Like Cosgrove. I calls 'em like I sees 'em.
- Jules Callaghan: There's somebody in there.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: What do you hear?
- Jules Callaghan: I heard labored breathing, but it's only one person.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: One person?
- Jules Callaghan: Yeah.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Eddie, aggressive entry.
- Pat Cosgrove: Ryan, why don't we start off by you sharing with the listeners just what it is that I am holding in my hand here right now.
- Ryan Malone: He has a gun. He is pointing a gun at me.
- Pat Cosgrove: Yes, that is correct. I am. And unless the councilman speaks the truth to me here today, unless he does that, I will kill him.
- Ed Lane: Okay, Spike, what do we got?
- Mike Scarlatti: He's out there somewhere.
- Ed Lane: Well, that's a hell of a lot of haystack.
- Pat Cosgrove: Son, unless you tell me the truth about that night in, like, the next 22 minutes, I am going to be putting a freaking bullet into your brain.
- Pat Cosgrove: Have you been a politician for so long that you've forgotten how to tell the truth, is that it?
- Ryan Malone: I'm not gonna lie just to tell you what you want to hear.
- Ed Lane: [on radio] Sam, got a visual?
- Sam Braddock: [looking through the scope of his sniper rifle] I can't get an angle on the west side and the south side is blocked. Maybe you can ask him to open his curtains a little bit for me, boss.
- Pat Cosgrove: Next caller, you're on Cosgrove in the Morning, go ahead.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: [running up stairs] Pat, please! Come out! Your boy wouldn't want this!
- Pat Cosgrove: Well, Greg, you never knew my boy.
- Ryan Malone: Neither did you, Pat.
- Pat Cosgrove: Sh-shut up, Ryan.
- Ryan Malone: Cody Ackerman was my friend and you want to know what I know about him, Pat? He had a dad. I'm not talking about the guy that knocked up his mom. I'm talking about the man that she chose to marry, to raise her boy and love her son. His real dad. Where the hell were you, Pat?
- Pat Cosgrove: I didn't even know...
- Ryan Malone: You were nothing to him, nothing.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Easy there, Ryan. I'm not sure that's where you want to go right now.
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Maybe you should think about running for office someday.
- Ed Lane: What, and give up all this? Paradise!
- Sgt. Gregory Parker: Whose paradise?
- [last lines]
- Jules Callaghan: Can you believe Malone kept her secret?
- Sam Braddock: Why not?
- Jules Callaghan: He had a gun to his head. He could've been killed.
- Sam Braddock: He was protecting his friend. I'd do the same.
- Jules Callaghan: Late night?
- Sam Braddock: Yeah, you can say that.
- Jules Callaghan: Blonde, brunette or redhead?
- Sam Braddock: One of each.
