Good, but it could be better...

The film is very faithful to the book and achieve success most of the humorous scenes. Nat and Gabi are very good characters and the film brings back the nostalgia of adolescence, of the time when we read the book.

On the other hand, the film has serious flaws:

1. Duration: 1h35 minutes is very little time to tell the story of a 330-page book; The consequence of this is that the story is rushed and worse, poorly told (Alberto and Natália's relationship becomes absurd, it comes out of absolute nothing); 2. Time and space: what was the objective of the film to take place in the year 2000 and not in 2008 as in the book? This change didn't add anything, on the contrary: at the end of the film, when Fani is going to the plane, a TAP Airbus appears in the background, but TAP only started operating in Belo Horizonte in 2008 (precisely at the time when the film should have been set). Much worse than the issue of time is this issue of space, since until Paula Pimenta appears in the film, it is simply impossible to feel that the story takes place in Belo Horizonte, as there are a total of zero Minas Gerais accents in the cast, but there are a legion of Rio accents and some São Paulo accents. Why doesn't the story take place in Rio or São Paulo? The story taking place in BH was implausible; 3. Still on the issue of time: if the film takes place in 2000, what was the point of using Perfect (Ed Sheeran, 2017) as the soundtrack? Wasn't there some beautiful, romantic music in keeping with the time in which the film takes place?

4. Inácio is completely ignored, he is not even credited at the end of the film (in addition, the actor who plays Inácio seems to be younger than the actor who plays Alberto, when it should be the opposite); 5. The pauses that occur in the scenes to show what Fani is thinking are a excessive/unnecessary most of the time.

Overall, the film is worth it for the comedy and nostalgia, but it could be much better if the errors mentioned above had not happened.

Brazilian film with high level

This film has a good feeling, it is not a tiring film, and it has a cool script, the story is entirely based on Fani, the main character, who is about to go on an exchange trip.

Before traveling, she goes through some situations that make her understand the differences and can really understand that there is a person who really likes her a lot and who has great affection and love for her, this affection and love is demonstrated in a different way than which we can generally see in most films, where basically when one person likes the other they demonstrate this clearly, here we have a calmer and more relaxed situation, like a different concept where the other is afraid to say what because they have no idea of what could happen tomorrow.

Script: Very good, I found it very interesting and complete.

Filming: The camera angles are very good, especially the scenes, and also the part where she changes her clothes when she is in the bathroom brushing her teeth, it is a more fun and cool way to see the scene

Actors: A film with several actors who have great talent and experience, such as Bela Fernandes (from Aventuras de Poliana), Alanys Santos who was also present in Poliana's adventure as well as being very beautiful, Giovana Chaves from (Complicites de um rescue ), Kiria Malheiros de (Gaby stars in one of the best soap operas I've ever watched with a beautiful story and soundtrack)... Anderson Lima, I like him a lot and anyone who knows him knows the great Bento from D. P. A, and others who give that surprise to find them

Very good film with a really cool story.

THE MOVIE IS TOO PERFECT!

The film takes you directly to the 2000s, with a nostalgic vibe and full of references, with stylish clothes that bring back memories of the past. The characters are captivating and have the essence of those described in the books. Fani da Bela delivers absolutely everything, and the honorable mention goes to Rodrigo, who delivers everything with just a few minutes of screen time. The film is faithful, fun, captivating, beautiful and perfectly portrays a love story, which is why it is a love film. I hope you have the opportunity to watch this work. Ps: Rodriscila warms the heart when he appears on the scene. They are perfect. Matching shoes, talking together and holding hands together is absolutely perfect.

The film is perfect!

The three-year wait was very rewarding with this film. The cast is without a doubt one of the greatest successes there is, they are captivating, fun, beautiful, they deliver absolutely EVERYTHING in acting and characterization and they have the essence of what the characters are. The story was very well developed, the scenes are fun, happy, there are moments of tension, and the scenes bring enormous nostalgia for those who have read the books, but also a great feeling for those who have never read them. The ending is emotional, you cry and get emotional, and you're dying to watch it again. The story is worthy of your attention.

The perfect film to watch on a rainy afternoon!

The film brings incredible nostalgia, which warms the heart and leaves everything feeling great. The characters are great, being the best cast off and on the screen. Giovana as a villain continues to rock, being the perfect characterization for Vanessa. Fani is exactly what I always dreamed of and Rodriscila won my heart (even though they appeared in so few scenes). The story is great! It's engaging, addictive, with scenes straight from the books! Secondary romances that we see in the book also appear in the film and I confess that they were short moments, but I enjoyed them a lot! In my view, the film delivers what it promises and it promised a lot and delivered everything!

A sweetheart movie

The story is perfect. Worthy of Paula Pimenta's books. The cast is undoubtedly the best, they bring the essence of the characters, and with every little detail you can fall in love. The pace of the film is very good, you have time to get to know Fani and everyone around her. Rodriscila killed it for the 5 seconds they appeared, giving a spoiler of what a series just for them would be like. The pool scene made it even better. Bela and Xande delivered all the chemistry we could read in Making My Movie, and the final scene was perfect, exactly as I always imagined. Paula Pimenta at the end watching the characters she created, being together and hugging was incredible!
