Asian hate has a long history in the United States going back to the 1800s and the building of the transcontinental railroad as low paid Chinese workers displaced Americans. It included instances of mass murder and many other acts of violence and harassment of Asians. But it has also been enshrined in laws prohibiting Asian immigration, citizenship, intermarriage and establishment of concentration camps. Politically, Asian countries are demonized to serve as scapegoats.

Water is becoming a scare resource. Demand is increasing and availability is declining particularly along major rivers such as the Nile and Colorado. There have already been military conflicts over water resources. Leaders are anticipating that water shortages will lead to wars in the future just as oil shortages have in the past.

Buy, borrow, die. That is how billionaires maintain there lavish lifestyle without paying taxes. After amassing their huge assets; instead of drawing income in the form of a salary of capital gains they borrow money from a bank. The borrowed money funds their lifestyle and the interest rate they pay on the loan is a much lower than their tax rate.

Finland and a few cities around the world use a "Housing First" approach to address homelessness. Housing First immediately provides a home then offers social programs to help them establish a stable life. The alternative used in most of the United States is "Continuum of Care". This type of program provides social programs first and housing once a homeless person achieves certain milestones. Unfortunately, it's tough to achieve the milestones without the security of a home.

Traditionally Christianity is a religion of egalitarianism even encouraging socialist good works such as sharing your wealth with the poor. Today in the United States conservatism, Christianity, capitalism and the Republican party seem synonymous. This change came about in the twentieth century as Christian leaders discovered the power to influence public policy.
