A car is featured for each actor to have played James Bond as of the year 2020. They are: The Aston Martin DB5 from 'Goldfinger' (and subsequently too from 'Thunderball') represents Sean Connery; the Aston Martin DBS from 'On Her Majety's Secret Service' (1969) represents George Lazenby; the Lotus Esprit from 'The Spy Who Loved Me'(1977) represents Roger Moore; the Aston Martin V8 from 'The Living Daylights'(1987) represents Timothy Dalton; the BMW Z8 from 'The World is Not Enough'(1999) represents Pierce Brosnan; and lastly is the Aston Martin DB10 built specifically for Daniel Craig and 'Spectre' (2015/I).
Regarding the later 'Top Gear' James Bond Cars episode (2021, Series 30, Episode 2), 'Top Gear' presenter Chris Harris said: "I'm a total Bond obsessive. I love the cars and I watch the films religiously with my kids because they're one of the ultimate viewing experiences. So, to get access to the back catalogue of Bond cars was amazing and I love the fact that we feature some of the cars you'd forgotten about."
This special episode was made available on line and is not listed as part of the regular numbering and nomenclature of the 'Top Gear' episodes and seasons sequence.
This is a 19 minute 2020 YouTube version of the later 2021 'Top Gear' episode 2. This 2021 episode was originally planned to be telecast but was pulled when the pandemic and the Bond movie 'No Time to Die' (2021) got postponed. The Bond Lifestyle (James Bond Lifestyle) website states: ''The episode was planned to coincide with the release of the film ['No Time to Die'] (which would have been April [2020], but was postponed).''

This later episode was originally shown in England on BBC One on 21st March 2021. Informally known as 'The Top Gear Guide To Buying A Bond Car On Any Budget (Including A Really Quite Enormous Budget)', it features the Aston Martin DB5 from 'Goldfinger' (1964) and 'Thunderball' (1965), the Lotus Esprit from 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977), the Toyota 2000 GT from 'You Only Live Twice' (1967) and the Alfa GTV6 from 'Octopussy' (1983), among many others.
