- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: [Oswald and Mickey stare at the statue of Walt Disney in the center of Wasteland] I'm starting to see why he liked you more.
- Yen Sid: [ending monologue, Yen Sid grabs Mickey who has just emerged from the portal to Wasteland] The intruder returned to my lab, but not in the way I expected. After retrieving my brush, I peered down into the world I created and noticed something had changed. The Wasteland no longer needed my magic. Thanks to the efforts of my apprentice, it had developed some magic of it's own. Magic developed from courage and wise choices.
- [Oswald watches as the Wasteland is restored by a rain of paint]
- Yen Sid: And of course the luck of a certain cartoon rabbit.
- [the rain revives Ortensia and Yen Sid sends Mickey back through the mirror]
- Yen Sid: [over a montage of the fates of characters Mickey has encountered through the game] The funny thing about mirrors, our reflections prompt us to reflect. On the struggles we have faced or avoided. How well we manage time. Enemies defeated or redeemed. The ways in which we treat others. And perhaps most important, the friendships we have nurtured or neglected.
- Yen Sid: [Mickey watches the Wastelanders viewing a fireworks show and Oswald jumps up to the mirror image in front of the train station and introduces him to Ortensia] Oswald and Mickey are in some ways each a mirror for the other. Brave, resourceful and good of heart. I hope they become friends and perhaps more. Perhaps even brothers.
- [ending with a shot of Mickey's hand meeting Oswald's on the two sides of the mirror]
- [a robotic Captain Hook confronts Mickey on the Jolly Roger]
- Captain Hook: You'd better not be plannin' on rescuin' the Sprite, lad. But... where are me manners? Welcome aboard! Finally! A worthy opponent for the great Captain Hook! Now, remember! Best keep your arms and legs inside the ship at all times. Ah-ha! I hope your geared up for this.
- [pops out of various barrels as he says:]
- Captain Hook: Because it's going to be... barrels... of fun! But don't let that crocodile near me!
- [the battle with Captain Hook begins]
- Pete: [as Pete Pan] So Hook, you wanna pick on someone your own size for once?
- Captain Hook: What's this? Me old nemesis! I thought I've seen the last of you, boy! Have at you!
- Mickey Mouse: [seeing what looks like Goofy's head in a glass jar] That's Goofy! I mean, sort of...
- Gremlin Gus: It's Animatronic Goofy! Oswald built him, with the Mad Doctor's help. Oswald wanted a friend like your pal Goofy.
- Goofy: [suddenly speaking] Gawrsh, hello, Mickey!
- [Mickey jumps back, startled]
- Mickey Mouse: [aside, to Gus] Uh, where's the rest of him?
- Gremlin Gus: What happened to you, Goofy?
- Goofy: Well, I was doin' some work in Tomorrow City when The Mad Doctor went and betrayed all of Oswald's friends.
- [in a thought bubble, the Mad Doctor pushes a button]
- Goofy: He had some friends of his own tear me to pieces!
- [in the bubble, a giant saw-blade-wielding robot descends on Goofy; the bubble disappears]
- Goofy: And now my parts are scattered all over Tomorrow City. But I know I can count on ya to put me together again, Mickey!
- Mickey Mouse: Gosh, lots of these characters look alike.
- Gremlin Gus: They're different versions from different stories.
- Pete: [as Big Bad Pete, butting in] Like me!
- Mickey Mouse: I thought these folks were forgotten! I'd never forget YOU, BIG BAD PETE!
- [angrily grunts]
- Pete: Big Bad Pete, Pete Pan, Small Pete, Petetronic. This place has got lotsa me! We get things done in Wasteland, see. So, work with us and nobody'll mess with ya!
- [chuckles evilly]
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: The Blot is absorbing the paint!
- Gremlin Gus: The Rocket is held together with PAINT?
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: It was kind of a budget issue.
- [Mickey and Gremlin Gus arrive in Mean Street]
- Mickey Mouse: Is this a theme park...?
- Gremlin Gus: Oswald copied it as best he could. He wanted us characters to be happy.
- Mickey Mouse: Characters?
- Gremlin Gus: Characters the world stopped watching and stopped loving. Rough drafts, extras, anyone who didn't work out right. Characters left on the drawing board. Most lived here, in Oswald's recreation of that magical place. He set up shops. An ice cream parlor. It was home... before.
- Mickey Mouse: Before what?
- Gremlin Gus: Before the Thinner Disaster. That's when the life went out of Wasteland. That's when the Blot arrived, and his flunkies. Welcome to Mean Street.
- Goofy: [after he sees Mickey leave Ortensia's house] Watcha got there, Mickey? Oh, that's Ortensia's locket. Oswald gave it to her as a gift. I think it's even valuable. At least that's what the museum lady said. She once tried to buy it for a bunch of E-tickets so she could display it at the museum. Gwarsh, ya know, since Ortensia hasn't been around for a while, I'm sure she wouldn't mind if ya borrowed it. Just return it later, okay?
- Donald Duck: [after Mickey finds Donald's parts] Wha! Oh boy oh boy oh boy! You have all my parts! That's swell!
- [all of the pieces magically assemble on Donald, who then falls to the ground and loses his temper]
- Donald Duck: [angrily] WAAAK! WAK! WAK! WAK!
- Mickey Mouse: Guess some things never change.
- Pete: [as Small Pete, storming out the Asian Boat Ride] Mickey Mouse, eh? I heard you're a Mr. Goody-Two-Shoes. Well, here's your chance to prove it. I spent years getting along with gremlins. Only had to knock 'em on occasion. Then one time, I crashed my boat into their village, they think I'm some kinda villain. Not that I give two hoots what they think, but it WAS an accident. And my ship's log will prove it. Those little monsters won't let me near the wreck to get it, though. Hmm... I'll bet they'd let you. Find that log from my ship so we can put this to rest and I can get back to work. See ya soon... Or sooner, if ya know what's good for ya!
- Mickey Mouse: [seeing a projector screen] The rabbit went this way. But...
- Gremlin Gus: Portals like this are how we get around. That rabbit is named Oswald. He set them up.
- Mickey Mouse: But a projector screen?
- Gremlin Gus: What's so strange? Seems natural for cartoons.
- Gremlin Gus: [as they look for Oswald in Mickeyjunk Mountain] Quite the exhibition. All it needs is a gift shop.
- Mickey Mouse: It's kind of - unsettling. I get that he resents me, but...
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: [behind them] Gosh! Ya think? I'm Oswald. I run the Cartoon Wasteland - or I used to. Before that, I used to be popular - a star!
- [pointing at Mickey]
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: Until YOU stole my popularity, Mouse.
- Mickey Mouse: My name is Mickey.
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: Believe me, I know.
- [goes over a display case containing a voodoo doll of Ortensia]
- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: Your name and likeness are on all this junk. For years, I've looked at this mountain of your stuff, wondering why YOU got got all the success I deserved. For a long time I tried to make the best of it, tried to make a nice place for all the other forgotten characters - especially my sweetie, Ortensia, and our bunny children. We were doing okay - until the Thinner Disaster.
- Mr. Smee: My crew, once ship-shaped; now they're so, so...
- Gremlin Gus: Lazy and dimwitted?
- Mr. Smee: Hmph. I was going to say "unfocused".
- Pete: [as Small Pete, after Mickey defeats a blotling army] You are one crazy mouse! I'm Outta Here!
- Pete: [as Small Pete, after Mickey Found the ship's log] Ya Did it! I might misjudged ya, but watch out, cuz' my cousin over on Mean Street makes me seem like a cuddly kitten. Oh, and help yourself to the treasure. As for me, time to go.
- Pete: [as Petetronic, as he appears] Welcome to Space Voyage, Mickey. Hope you're ready to see stars, if ya get my drift? Say, "Hello", to Petetronic! I am master of this arena! And with my augmentations, you ain't got a chance, Mickey! I ALWAYS win here!
- Pete: [as Petetronic, redeemed by Mickey Mouse with paint] Wow, I lost my head for a while. Here, take this disc, will ya? I don't need it anymore. I'm gonna see if I can get Tomorrow City cleaned up. Tell Big Bad Pete I said hi, will ya?
- Pete: [as Pete Pan, after Mickey Mouse rescued the sprite] I knew ya could save the sprite, Mickey! Now, I'll return the favor by taking that scoundrel, Hook, of yours hands. Mickey, get to the deck. I'm gonna need room to battle this rust bucket.
- Pete: [as Big Bad Pete, seeing something from Mickey] Ooohh, is that an Animatronic Donald Duck voodoo doll? I must have it!
- Donald Duck: [Mickey shows him a voodoo doll of himself] That's what did a number on me? But it doesn't even look like me! I hope you gave that Spatter what it had coming! Hmmm... What if somebody even worse got it? I know! Can you find somebody who likes me to keep it safe?... Don't say it! Lots of folks like me! And I probably shouldn't keep it myself.
