Rarely do I have the patience to sit down and commit myself to a short film from some unknown amateur. Yet from the opening shot and inner monologue I was captivated right away by this film. The story revolves around a high school student struggling to adjust to the recent changes in his life. However , Bryan Litt is able to steer the story away from your typical high school cliché and is able to translate some complicated adult themes to the big screen. Litt's storytelling talents are on full display with this charming story from start to finish. This director reminds me a bit of wes anderson but this film seems much more capable of reaching a greater audience.
