- Romantic adventures await Jake and the final three women - Gia, Tenley and Vienna - as they travel to the picturesque Caribbean island of St. Lucia. From the rain forest to an old sugar plantation to a pirate ship, the dates are filled with excitement and passion, as Jake continues to explore what his future would be like with each of these potential mates. At the end of each evening, Jake will present the bachelorette with an invitation to spend an intimate night together in a "fantasy suite," with the hope that she will accept. But will she? It's a wild, romantic ride with each of the women - until Jake has to make another heart-wrenching decision - tremendously complicated by a departed bachelorette who pleads for a second chance.—ABC Publicity
- Ali is gone (for the time being), but bachelor Jake soldiers on the only he knows how: by going on vacation in the Caribbean with three women who have a penchant for bikinis. We open in Saint Lucia -- a "perfect place to fall in love," Jake declares. After reminiscing about his three whirlwind romances, the bachelor wonders what Ali might be thinking. Sure enough, we cut to San Francisco, where the former contestant is regretting her decision to ditch Jake for her career. "I'm going to fight for him," she proclaims.
Before Ali can return, however, Jake heads out for a date with super-excited Gia. "After my hometown date, I knew I was falling for him," she tells the camera. The pair hops into a boat for a cruise across the bay. "Traveling is a really good way to get to somebody on a pretty deep level," Jake says. Seconds later, the trip ends and the pair spend a few minute hanging with the locals. The bachelor is impressed by how Gia, who has extremely expensive tastes, can mix with regular folks. After a quick swim/make-out session, it's time for dinner at Smuggler's Cove. "I'm so intrigued because you're so just like drop-dead gorgeous," Jake says. "But you really surprised me because you're very deep." Gia returns the favor by also calling Jake "deep." They make out. Later, Jake hands Gia the "fantasy suite card" -- and she leaps at the chance to spend the night with her pilot. They hop in the tub (wearing their swimsuits) for another make-out marathon.
The next morning, Jake and Tenley meet up (no mention is made of the end result with Gia, of course -- neither the bachelor nor "The Bachelor" kisses and tells). One "awesome," "gorgeous" and "incredible" helicopter ride later, "Jenley" (or "Take") sit down for a picnic. "I feel like I'm living in a dream right now," Tenley comments. Responds super-suave Jake: "Me too." Jake then reaches into bag of old tricks and goes for a swim/make-out session with his lady pal. Of course, it's only a matter of time before Tenley mentions her divorce. So, three ... two ... one: "I haven't been with another man since I was married," she says. "Being with Jake overnight is a big deal." So what will almost-but-not-quite virginal Tenley do? Presented with the fantasy-suite card, she jumps at the chance. "I absolutely can not wait to ... watch our first sunrise," Jake says. Tenley then puts on her bikini and, as the two make out in the pool, we tastefully fade to black.
Last but not least, Vienna arrives for her one-on-one date. "I feel like a kid when I'm around her," Jake says. The pair -- "Tienna" or "Vake" -- board a ship from a certain pirate movie starring Johnny Depp. "I've never been in love before, but I'm falling in love right now," Vienna tells the camera before stripping down to her bikini. A major make-out session later, Jake uses a plastic sword to make Tenley walk the plank. It's more than a little creepy. Or romantic -- depending on whom you ask. "It was so romantic," Vienna gushes to the camera. As attractive as Jake finds Vienna, however, he wants to make sure she has "substance." So while they eat dinner, Jake asks Vienna if she's ready to be married. "Absolutely," she responds. "I want a life partner." Vienna then confesses her love for the pilot. Reasonably assured of the contestant's substance, Jake invites Vienna to the "fantasy suite." She immediately accepts. Later, Vienna emerges from the bathroom of the suite in slinky, silk lingerie. We fade to black.
The next morning, Jake appears pretty energetic for a guy who has had three straight dates end up in the fantasy suite. Anyway, Jake is getting ready for another big day of love when Ali calls. "I want to come back," she says. After considerable hemming and hawing, Jake tells Ali that he "just doesn't think it's a good idea." Apparently, Jake has progressed too far with the other ladies to let Ali back into his life. The bachelor then begins to cry. "I will forever regret this decision," Ali says. "I'm sorry." The conversation ends and Jake takes the opportunity to wistfully stare out a window while gentle piano music plays on the soundtrack. Back in San Francisco, Ali weeps for a love lost.
Later, Jake sits down with host Chris for a convenient recap of all that has come before (including lengthy flashbacks going all the way back to 20 minutes ago). The gist of the conversation: it has been very "tough" for Jake, who faces a "very tough decision" in the next rose ceremony. Jake then stares at framed photos of the women. "I'm so confused," he tells the camera. To help confused Jake with his tough decision, the women have recorded video message for the bachelor. Tenley references her divorce in the first five seconds. Gia says it has been hard for her to "open up," but feels that she has come a long way. Vienna wants to flirt with Jake for "the next 80 years." Jake then returns to staring at the framed photographs. "I'm scared," he tells the camera.
Later, Jake greets his special ladies, who stand by the side of the ocean in fancy dresses. The first rose goes to ... Tenley. The second rose goes to ... Vienna. So that means Gia is OUT. She sits down with Jake for a tearful chat before walking out of his life forever. "I think our relationship has been a little start-stop," he explains. "I'm so sorry." Gia attempts to smile through the tears, but it doesn't last. She breaks down -- then takes the time to compliment the other two women. Magnanimous, that Gia. "I feel crushed right now," Gia says from inside the limo. "I don't understand ... I actually did fall in love." Weepy Jake then enjoys a group hug with Vienna and Tenley. "I see my future wife in both of them," he tells the camera. That could be awkward, though.
The bachelor will have to pick one -- and soon.
