Trouble with tigers

Warning: Spoilers
Having been a bit disappointed with the previous episode I was pleased to find the series back on form here. Things seem to be going well for Albert until the target of his latest con dies and his friend a notorious gangster tells him he has a few days to pay the money Albert claimed to have earned. This presents a problem as he doe not have half a million pounds handy. The team set out to find a suitable target who deserves to be relieved of such a large amount. The find one in the form of an obnoxious character who has a large collection of art and valuables including a gold tiger worth ten million pounds; he would like to sell it but conditions of his father's will means that he can't. This is were Mickey and his team come in; offering to steal it so that he can claim on the insurance, this they will do for a fee of half a million pounds. There are still problems, the owner is on an insurance black list so any theft from the house will be very thoroughly investigated. Luckily a museum has been trying to borrow the tiger so the owner is persuaded to loan it them in perpetuity... now the team just has to steal it from the most secure vault in London.

The regular cast all did a great job and Simon Day was good enough as the unpleasant Luke Baincross, owner of the tiger, in another programme I'd consider his performance a bit over the top but here it worked okay. As always when it is revealed how they performed the con it is a little far fetched but that is part of the fun of the series.
