I'm pretty psyched --- today drops Fallout: New Vegas, the sequel to the ultra incredible Fallout 3 videogame. Set a few years after the last game, this time the makers have gambled on a new locale, the relatively untouched setting of Las Vegas, with you as a betrayed and left-for-dead courier out for revenge.
There's something deeply satisfying about watching a mutant's head explode in into a puddle of gore and bone. Okay, sure, I could be a little twisted and sick, but come-on, how often do you get to level a .44 Magnum at some monster's cranium, compute a course-of-death with your V.A.T.S, and watch the resulting blood-mist in slow motion? Me? Not nearly often enough.
In the video below, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the voice talent that went into making the video. I've noticed just how important top-tier talent is to rendering a game believable.
