After watching RvB Zero I was certain that this series was royally screwed but after watching these shorts I'm starting to have faith in the franchise again. I really appreciate the team going back to basics like they did in Season 11 and establishing the show's characters more carefully than just rushing their introductions and expecting the audience to automatically like them. If we ever see these characters again in a future season with competent writers who know how to give these characters personalities then I guess I could start getting used to these characters.
By the way, Zero's character is SO much more likeable in these shorts and has a much funnier personality.
