This heart wrenching tale follows the tireless pursuit of one man in Ho Chi Minh City, the former Saigon, to help people of all ages who are stricken with HIV/AIDS. Without the aid of the ruling Communist government, he uses his own resources with supplementation from donations to educate and support those afflicted with the knowledge of their basic rights in Vietnam as well as helping out with children and their education and basic needs. The film also fills us in with his own story, and the viewer comes to realize why he is so selfless in his conviction. We see him go around to different areas within the city as he helps and we see how his own story plays out. An excellent example of the human spirit willing to help out a stranger in need in a government controlled society that shuns drug addicts and HIV/AIDS afflicted people.
