Man, I can't wait to not have kids.
The Kindergarten Shuffle, a cautionary tale about early education placement in New York City, opens with the statement, "Not that it matters, but most of what follows is true." On his website, the director elaborates. The film is a fictionalized account of a year in his life, the year spent trying to get his then four year old son into kindergarten. It exists somewhere between a documentary, a reenactment and a narrative, but is best described as a pure domestic nightmare.
