And when I say insane, I mean insane. “Kaibutsu-Kun: The Movie” is based on the television program of the same name, and that’s pretty much where my knowledge of the project begins and ends. The film, which opened in Japan on November 26th, is obviously aimed at children, but that honestly doesn’t matter. It looks too freaking insane for me to pass up. Besides, it’s not everyday that you get to see Japanese versions of Dracula, Wolfman, and Frankenstein, let alone in the same damn movie. Insert peculiar cinematic happiness here!
