Good episode

Not as good as the previous 4 but still enjoyable. The best past was Hope vs. Dark Josie and Lizzie's story line this episode. Also first time I feel like the squad really cares about Hope. Before, it felt like they just used her to save them but this episode felt genuine as to how they feel friendship towards her. No Humanity Hope is fun but I hope she doesn't take things too far that she can't take back later. Next week looks interesting.

It was better than previous one

Tbh I liked that episode. It was kinda fun to see how they were trying to change her humanity back on, like reality show thing it was cool. I didnt really care about western simulation except for the Josie vampire part its was interesting. I even loved her being vampire part and that Lizzie killed her it was cool and cold-blooded I really didnt expect that. I liked that she beat up a little Ethan and Finch. Are they so stupid that she won't notice Ethan behind her, really? And we now can see that magic wont work her and she was compared to Original. Her fighting Dark Josie was cool scene, I loved it. It was interesting what she did with Josie at the end.

Lizzie is kinda really walking on dark side there or she is going crazier. It was scary scene at the end between her and Josie.

Cleo surprised that she decided its bad idea to tell about tree. And at the end we have again mysterious woman on the phone I have a feeling that she is someone she used to know for sure.

Pretty great episode.

I'm loving legacies so much. It is pretty good now. I wish we could see a different dynamic. I kinda always hated the school... I've seen that house for 8 seasons and even in the originals. We could use some fresh new air.

A giant step back
JabezGill3 December 2021
After offloading the rest of the delayed Covid episodes and leaning into the "humanity off full tribrid hope" this show really started to pick up.

Gone were three seasons of the same repetitive Hope-Landon storyline and the power rangers level action scenes with "the squad" facing off against the latest, corny, "monster/bad guy of the week." It seemed like they were moving the tone towards a slightly more mature The Originals/Vampire diaries vibe.

Then this week hit... we have a corny Western subplot with hokey accents and acting and a ridiculous sequence of a school talent show to convince hope you come back. It was a return to the overly childish dialogue and bits. The played out "dark Josie" also returned - that gets cornier and cringier every time.

It would seem that the writers are having a hard time figuring out who their target audience is - it was obviously meant to target a younger demographic than TVD and TO targeted... yet, it is now in its 4th season... the viewers of this show have grown up - of the writers are smart... they will start writing for the actual demographic that watches the show and stop trying to appeal to the younger demographic that is either not interested in the show, or not allowed to watch it.

Comparing to TVD& TO
hany-farid9 December 2021
The character development in Legacies is a total failure, In TVD we all Damon although he was a villain and we all sympathized with him , In TO and TVD we loved Klaus and sympathized with him also ,,,,, as for Legacies , we have no emotional attachment with any of the characters , Landon died (so what) , If Hope dies( so what also)
