A Very Good Season 4 Show

Bernadette Peters and Mike Douglas are the guests, Vicki does not appear. The Q&A has a question about her favorite character, Carol says the nagging wife. 2 girl scouts come up selling cookies.

Bernadette Peters sings Tea For Two as a bride with some reverse motion scenes.

A very funny sketch has Carol as a tomboy and Bernadette as a snooty girl, Harvey is Bernadette's prissy boyfriend. Carol meets handsome Boy Scout Lyle and they practice kissing games.

Mike Douglas sings Love Story to a filmed sequence on the beach with two of the dancers.

One of the funniest Funt and Mundane sketches has them performing in a Nebraska barn. They are bothered by mosquitoes, a cow, chickens and a pig.

Carol and Mike sing two current hit songs, Partridge Family's I Think I Love You and For All We Know by the Carpenters.

A movie spoof The Most Happy Stella has old Greek Harvey waiting for his mail order bride, she falls for handyman Lyle.

A musical sequence has Carol, Harvey, Lyle and Bernadette as old people singing about their long ago dreams of Broadway. Mike Douglas and the dancers join in.

Carol sings her theme as her old lady character and the guests sign her book.
