Right now as I write this someone is getting kicked out of a band. It happens all the time. Usually the discarded member won't make a documentary of the incident because nobody cares.
In this case drummer Pete Best got the Beatle boot right before the Fab Four hit the big time. It seems fair to let him tell his side of the story. Although there is a melancholy aura about Pete, the brunt of the documentary has him sharing fond memories of playing with the band.
If you are a Beatles fan and never tire of hearing about their early days as well as have empathy for Best you should enjoy this production.
Sadly many of the talking heads that populate the video and are sympathetic to Pete's fate and defensive of his drumming have passed on so I am glad Pete took the opportunity to produce the video when he did.
