Peter, Jean and Gavin have their first encounter with Danny The Dragon, and learn he's from outer Space, and in a degree of trouble.
I love the way that Talking Pictures offer up that little snippet about missing the start of the program, honestly it's so short, if you've missed the start, there's not a huge deal else.
Second episode, terribly sweet and lovely, I can imagine this show represented pure escapism for kids in 1967, what kid didn't love the idea of dragons, and meeting them.
We learn a bit more about Danny, we learn that he's a sweet dragon, and represents little, if no threat. Kenneth Connor's voice over is lots of fun.
Some good acting from the trio of youngsters, Patrick Newell always seemed to play wonderfully quirky roles, who can ever forget Mother, and he's suitably zany here.
Worth seeing on a Saturday morning. 6/10.
