Miss Hard Hat USA
20 December 2018 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

The workers are excited with a photo shoot featuring contestants for Miss Hard Hat USA.

Hunk ends up rescuing one of the contestant's Dixie Lee is being pursued by a jealous ex boyfriend and his family who want to force her into marriage. Dixie Lee hopes that winning beauty pageants would help make something with her life. Marriage to a hick is not on the agenda.

An orphan Vietnamese girl that the guys sponsor is visits the USA to see her surviving relative. The guys end up seeing their Congressman to somehow allow her to stay permanently in the USA.

John Quade plays the villain and his character is not far from the one he played in the Every Which Way But Loose movies.

The show was billed as a comedy but it is a hour long and had no canned laughter. It was more a drama with comedy, a bit like The Dukes of Hazzard. It was all a bit flat and the plot worked out so unrealistically neatly at the end.
