The flashing colors during the second dance scene correspond to the "mystic chord" created by the early 1900's composer Alexander Scriabin. Before his death, he was working on a composition that would combine color and sound in an attempt to usher in the Apocalypse.
Filming lasted 5 nights (50 hours total) and the on-set crew consisted of 4 people: director, cinematographer, sound, and makeup.
