This show is gross. With the exception of one, all of the designers behavior is just nauseating. Not much focus at all on design, but instead mostly name dropping, bragging on themselves and discussing how big their clients budgets are. It must be fake because if a client is paying $1M plus for these services, the decorator shows up to a job 90 minutes late, then offers no explanation as to why and acts dismissive toward the client when they express frustration over it, I cannot imagine that would fly with these "high profile" people. One designer also constantly mentions being skinny and wanting a case of "light anorexia" which is in extremely poor taste. Lastly, the episode featuring Joe Francis and the way he speaks to his staff was terrible - what a disgusting human being.

Seriously? First I thought Love it or List it was good just to see how unprofessional and irresponsible Hillary Farr actually is. House Hunters is a complete joke, noting is real on that show. I love The Property Brothers. I'm sure there is a bit of behind the scenes stuff going on but at least they are interesting and their designs are good. Jeff Lewis is ALWAYS the best. but seriously I can't watch this show without trying to poke m own eyes out. The clients are complete snobs, the decorators don't actually create anything a real person might even attempt to do even if not on the same financial scale. Having to listen to Martyn and his fake staunchie I'm the greatest(which is complete garbage) haute overdone voice, like he's the Queen of England, is like pouring bleach down my pants.

I liked this at first but then quickly realized it was trash. Joe Francis - really?? You couldn't do better that a sleazy guy like him. Then he is a complete jerk to the people working for him. He gets "in a mood" and fires everyone.... what an entitled prick! Terrible and just gross! It's not bad enough that he made his money exploiting young women.
The designers and clients are rude and snobby. Waste of time watching this show! This show seems to be more about creating drama than design. It feels forced. The "friendships" feel very fake. Not sure why they cannot just focus on the design aspect rather than play up the snooty southern California lifestyle they are trying to export to the rest of the country.

OMG! And again we have another BS reality show about life in LA.
The realtors were bad enough, now this garbage. Does anyone really care about the lifestyles of the rich and famous? What is the obsession with people with British accents? Are they more talented andworthy of "prestigious" positions? I could not get past the first few minutes of this travesty. So many better reality shows to watch; like The Mole, Squid Game, Face Off, Great British Baking Show, et. Etc; even that tired Survivor has more interest. Perhaps I should have given it more time but my time is valuable and with so much streaming going on!!!!

I like Kathryn Ireland because she's not fake.
If I were going to hire someone to decorate my home it would NOT be Jeffrey All Alan Marks or Cassidy simply based on the way they treat the elderly dog who's trying to tell them something and they just keep telling it to get out of the way. No compassion whatsoever. I can't stand that. When they're old and they're in a nursing home maybe they'll be able to relate to how that poor dog must feel.
I do like the other designers though. I love seeing the homes that they are decorating and the differences between before and after. It always makes me wish I had an elaborate home that needed to be decorated and endless money.
