When Kelly's fifteen year old sister arrives and the social services say that if she wants to get her baby out of care then she must show that she can care for a "real baby" doll. Not being too keen to look after the doll but desperate to get her baby back she gets Mickey to look after the doll. I thought this was going to lead to comic moments but in fact it turned out to be a well handled tragedy where Ciaran Griffiths once again showed that he is a good actor. The second story line where Libby gets Mimi to help her raise funds to send her wheelchair bound mother to Lourdes provided more laughs, a highlight being when Frank and Libby's mother steal communion wine while in France.
When this episode started I thought it might be a weaker outing that would rely on cheap laughs but it turned out to be a great combination of comedy and tragedy featuring incest, murder and a "miracle".
