- GoofsIn "Ain't No Kiddie Ride": Dr. Doofenshmirtz's evil plan is to write his name in the Ozone layer so that when the sun shines through it, it would burn his name into the Earth. He illustrates this by showing two slides, one of his name in the sky, the other of it being burned on the ground. The problem is that both slides show his name being properly written, when in actuality, the name in the sky would have to be written backwards in order for the name on the ground to be read properly.

'Phineas and Ferb' was one of the few Disney Channel shows in (relatively) recent years that was watched by me and my siblings, also Disney fans, since its inception and continued to watch completely hooked, the re-runs being holiday highlights. That's no joke. The earlier episodes are better than the later ones, funnier and more creative, but even when the show was not at its best it was better than quite a lot of the shows airing on Disney Channel, which has not been the same it used to be for years, at the time.
Both "Invasion of the Ferb Snatchers" and "Ain't No Kiddie Ride" had great premises, the show often excelled when it came to the more scientific/science fiction-oriented concepts, and also great execution. Especially "Invasion of the Ferb Snatchers" (very catchy and not too cheesy parody title), which actually does bring freshness and its own spin on a popular type of story. There was the worry of whether they would be too formulaic, but they weren't despite "Ain't No Kiddie Ride" not being as creative.
"Ain't No Kiddie Ride" is ever so slightly on the predictable side, but still manages to be wildly entertaining and the energy is there throughout. "Invasion of the Ferb Snatchers" is funnier and has a different feel to it, like with Candace's way of thinking.
The animation is full of vibrant colour, quirky character designs and meticulous attention to detail in the backgrounds. The music is dynamic with the action and the theme song is insanely catchy with very clever and quotable lyrics that anybody still in school fishing for how to spend their vacation will relate to.
Wonderful writing in both episodes as well, especially in "Invasion of the Ferb Snatchers". They are equally wonderful on this front, very intelligent, never juvenile or confused and often very funny to hilarious. The stories are engaging and have a lively energy.
Doofenschmirtz's subplots in both episodes are a lot of fun. Really did get a kick out of his insane invention in "Invasion of the Ferb Snatchers" and the one in "Ain't No Kiddie Ride" is also wonderfully bonkers if extreme. All the characters are on point as are the interactions (Perry and Doofenschmirtz together are gold and that has always been the case) and the voice acting.
Concluding, great. 9/10.
