This film is inspired by a true story.
Paired with the acclaimed Canadian feature film, I Killed My Mother (2009) by Montreal filmmaker Xavier Dolan, at The Kingston Canadian Film Festival.
The piece James plays at the end of the film was composed and performed by writer and director Nicholas Arnold. Actor, Alex Borrowman did not know how to play piano.
The entire film was shot in one house. The garden in which James walks through on his way to Lynn's house is actually the backyard.
In the final scene with James and his mother, a miniature version of "The Pieta" can be seen on the night-table; a symbolic representation of a mother losing her son.
