Spirit of Speed 1937 (1999) had previously been played on Spirit of Speed 1937 LJN (Dreamcast) (2016). The duo agreed that there wasn't much to say about the game and that it was boring to play.
The reason for the episode originally being released in three parts was Screenwave had bought too many brand deals for The Angry Video Game Nerd (2004), without informing James Rolfe about it until it was too late. James was, naturally, unhappy about the episode being split into three parts in order to recoup a profit.
Not counting specials, this is the official 200th episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd.
Originally released in three parts.
Fans criticized the episode due to half of it being a compilation of older clips.
