The writers are doing an excellent job of showing what absolute egotistical a-holes the Silicon Valley Oligarchs are. They are vile, horrible people who stumbled across some code and then used other peoples money to grow into multi-billionaires.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt captures the thoroughly unlikeable TK in such a way that the viewer doesn't turn on him. We know he's going to fall, but we also know it's going to be an interesting ride. We want to be there when it all goes down. Kyle Chandler, who has become an A-list supporting actor, shines as the integrity-compromised JV-investor and supposed-to-be mentor to TK.
The scene, at breakfast, with Larry Page (Ben Feldman) was an absolute classic. The impact scene with Lyft's John Zimmer (John Magaro) presented another type of founder and leader.
