During production of film, Mirzayev asked his colleagues to beat him to makes bruises appear natural.
The film was shot during the Nagorno-Karabakh War. The war strongly influenced Jeyhun Mirzayev's health, which caused him to suffer heart attacks. The last heart attack of which Mirzayev never regained consciousness and died in 1994.

Director and actor Jeyhun Mirzayev (after his death) was awarded a Diploma and Prize for his dedication and creative pursuits in solving the theme of heroism on the screen.
