Here, we go deeper into the mysteries surrounding the VR game and its connection to the larger narrative.

While the heavy focus on VR may not be good to all viewers, the writers try to advance the plot through each level of the game with purpose and a reasons adds depth to the storyline itself.

As the episode is the real start of knowing the "aliens", the true meaning of the series begins to come into life.

Overall, this episode delivers a focused and compelling plots that try to explain some things in the series. Of course not mentioning the plot holes the episode succeeds in keeping us engaged and waiting to watch more!

Enjoying show but characters make odd choices..

Warning: Spoilers
I'm hooked loving it but I really couldn't see Jack leaving Jin like that.

Surely would have been better writing if Jack had been unhappy with the situation and refusing to believe in aliens, tried to talk Jin out of it and disrupting conversation, Tatiana says "no hard feelings your both free to leave if you want but Jin think your interested" hands Jin the invite.

Jack and Jin argue on way home but Jin agrees with him to keep him happy with every intention of going on her own. Both go separate ways and Tatiana turns up at Jacks the same way and kills him.

This just feels that a simple way of keeping the same ending without Jack abandoning his friend with a strange woman in a scary situation he doesn't seem the sort so far to do this.

So, this just happened. Wow.

Jin and Jack continue through the levels, desperately searching for the truth.

Ok, so I enjoyed the first two episodes, but can't say I fully got what was going on, but this third one, wowsers, this actually blew me away, I think that this is the point where the series has me totally hooked.

The story by this point becomes clear, it all comes together, from the game play, to the deaths of the scientists, even that message from China. I was struggling a little to piece it together.

Incredibly good visuals, the special effects were terrific, easy to see this was a labour of love for the production team.

Why does it always happen, a character that starts off in an incredibly irritating manner, then wins you over, and just as you start to like them, Game Over.

Blew me away.

10/10.

Finally!

Warning: Spoilers
I think this is the worst episode yet, and by a margin. The fat guy, whose name I can't remember, is unbearable. I don't get how the writers thought that THAT type of humor could be coherent with the general vibe of the series: the guy ruins every scene he's in, his dialogues consistently ruin the tension and the "seriousness" of the situation, which at this point I consider almost a betrayal of the original book series; the mysterious aspect of the videogame should be treated as an enigma, something that troubles the viewers and pushes them to make theories etc... instead we have this guy making jokes, as if indeed it's all meant not to be taken too seriously after all...

But one thing I can say... FINALLY he died, and so early! Hope this will increase the quality of the series.

3 problems (not body, but mind) and my patience ran out... you can turn your brain half off, but not the whole thing.

Warning: Spoilers
1. When the whole sky flashes with what looks likes an astronomical chart, and the entire worlds sees it, oh well that's the whole thing blown we live in a simulation. This is going to be difficult to watch with for anyone who wants intelligent sci-fi or good fantasy.

2. HUGE nude fest of lot of far eastern folk, your thing? Watch away! It's not mine.

3. Final straw, hot on the heals of Indian Hindu nationalists leading a march through Leicester (UK) shouting 'Death to Pakistan' because, they lost a cricket match, in this episode you can lament British society for not holding someone who murdered a good number of Pakistanis in high esteem and the Indian medal of honour given to such individuals. The writers sure know how to stoke a culture war and exploit inter-community tensions.

I went to its wiki and read what happens in the season is about 10 minutes, saved me a good few hours, phew, doesn't appear I missed anything by reading it.
