"I love you, but I don't like you at all!"
bosporan12 May 2022
Another excellent episode in which we learn more of Cassie's relationship with her mother. A beautiful interaction between Kaley Cuoco and Sharon Stone, laced with raw emotion, ambiguity and regret, this gives a meaningful insight into both characters.

The plot moves forward with Cassie in jeopardy from multiple directions, leaving her doubting whom she can trust. A seamless story in a sea of action, suspense and well-crafted dialogue.

Best episode of Season 2 so far

Who could possibly play The Flight Attendant's mother, you might have asked yourself at some point in the past season and a half of Kaley Cuoco's hard-to-describe dark comedy? That answer shows up in this episode, as Cuoco's character of Cassie joins her brother, Davey (T. R. Knight), in visiting their mother to try to unload some of their considerable emotional baggage. (Exactly when has THAT ever worked?) I won't spoil the "reveal" when "Mom" opens her front door, but it's a good one. This whole episode is a good one, in fact, as all the major characters and also most of the minor ones get to chime in with how Cassie's Chaos Storm is affecting them. Get ready to trade some of the usual rueful laughs for more radical sobbing this time. 8/10 stars.

Was not expecting that

Warning: Spoilers
From being a confusing pop-corn TV series, with a not very good actress in the lead, to finding out Kaley Cuoco can actually act, and act dam well. The scene with her and Sharon Stone was super. The last 2 episodes has showed a level of deepness i was not expecting at all.

Deep

More than just a "who done it" this series digs deep into alcoholism and how it runs in families. Alcoholism it can influence everything in our lives. The personal realizations are poignant. It's real talk between family members, saying the things that need to be said between us that don't get said. It's a really good example of how we need to be addressing relationship issues and how we can move on. It's very cathartic, complex & refreshing. Love it. Callie Cuoco is amazing, the whole cast is fantastic, and the cinematography was outstanding. First and second seasons were awesome, please keep addressing the hard things to talk about!

10 stars for that family scene

That kitchen scene was just great stuff all around from everyone involved!

Solid lines, believable acting, just gripping!

Sharon Stone especially nailed it there but Kaley and T. R. were good as well.

Incredibly moving
I was balling my eyes out during this episode! Kaley is such a fantastic actress. The scenes with Cassie confronting her mother were so thought provoking, emotional and gut wrenching! If you've ever bottled up trauma or had a bad fight with a family member or friend then I'm sure you will relate.

Wish they just left it as a mini series

No where near as good as season 1. I find this season boring and it's seriously lacking a bigger storyline. It seems to just be about Cassie's recovery. It needs more. And she's just an annoying person and character this season. I don't know how she even has friends or the one good friend she has anyway. She's just too whiny this season. She just keeps repeating the same mistakes while using the same excuses. Even the people she has are getting tired of her. It's always the same, she only ever cares about her own problems and it's always about her.

Anyways I would've preferred if it wasn't just all about that. I don't even care who's impersonating her. It's boring to me. Even if the last 2 put it all together. It doesn't make up for the rest of the season. I'm just not interested in the storyline. They could've done more. While there's been a couple good scenes and episodes it's just not as good. Shame because it started of promising.

Still Off the Rails

The final 90 seconds or so made this episode better than last week, but only barely. Again, we were promised SPIES, INTRIGUE, INTERNATIONAL ESPIONAGE. Instead we get whiny alcoholics last week and horrid mothers this week. Oh boo-hoo... show it on Lifetime or Hallmark. This show doesn't even know what it's about any more. See the User Review "Wish they just left it as a mini series," they hit the ball out of the park.

Also, Cassie and Davey evading professional Korean mobsters/gangsters in the junkyard-in-the-woods by setting off a roman candle?? What? The writers aren't even trying at this point. Just pathetic.

Brothers & Sisters

Warning: Spoilers
A really poor family reunion and just not a lot of drama here. Even the goofy stuff with the exploding car did not make a lot of sense.

I just don't know what they're hoping to accomplish.

Drama... and nothing else
dudma-227 May 2022
Drama, drama, drama... Cuoco is a good actress, she doesn't need that to win a Emmy... A little bit of action and comedy, please. That's the mix that make the season so good! The cast is very good and the idea is not bad: why it doesn't work? Balance!

At least, I could watch Sharon again...
